Pressure Transducer PressureBox / ES 1088

Our PressureBox is actually a range of pressure sensors / pressure transducers measuring air pressure and they can easily be modified for your exact requirements.

Even in the standard models you find a very versatile useability and measured pressure ranges from 50Pa to 7000Pa. Naturally not in the same model as that would make the measurement fairly unprecise.

Pressure Transducer with or without Display

Depending on your application you might want to use the pressure transducers with display or the pressure transducers without display. If you choose to use a pressure transducer without display you will need to set up the pressure transducer by ModBus Protocol whereas the pressure transducer with display can be set up by pushbuttons under the lid.

More than a Pressure Transducer

Besides being able to measure gauge pressure, negative pressure and differential pressure PressureBox has an integrated PID regulator making it possible to set up this “pressure transducer” to maintain a constant pressure or air volume flow.

Ability to Measure Air Flow

The PressureBox pressure transducer can also be set to show the air flow in meters per second or cubic meters per hour by entering the K-factor for the duct in which the pressure is measured.

Temperature input

PressureBox is also equipped with 2 inputs for NTC or PT1000 sensor, so temperature can be considered when PID regulator is in use.

For most pressure areas the PressureBox product range comes with the option of choosing a model with one or two separate pressure sensors.

Each pressure transducer includes 4 pressure ranges to choose from. See below tables for which pressure ranges available in the standard models.

The required pressure range is easily set by using the pushbuttons under the lid, whether you have chosen a model with or without display.

Output Signal

The output signal can either be written by ModBus protocol or you may choose the electrical output signal 0-10V or 4-20mA. The electrical output signal 0-10V / 4-20mA is proportional to the pressure measured.

Minimize the Cabling inside you Air Handling Unit

The PressureBox can be modified to your unique requirements. E.g. models with only ModBus and without display for use in air handling units minimizing the need for cabling. See below schematic drawing.

Go Online

Through the LS SmartConnect Gateway it is possible to get the PressureBox online and thereby take advantage of the LS SmartConnect Universe.

Also, when PressureBox is online it is possible to get alarms directly on your mobile in case of pressure drop or other failures in the system.

PressureBox is easily connected to the gate way using the ModBus protocol.
