SpeedControl 1164 is a small, cost-optimized inverter rated up to 800W, developed specifically for controlling compressor speed according to cooling or heating demand, allowing the output to be continuously adjusted as needed.
SpeedControl 1164 is equipped with APFC (Active Power Factor Correction), which improves how power is drawn from the grid and can reduce harmonic currents. This provides more stable operation and can contribute to lower electricity consumption.

When SpeedControl 1164 is used to control a compressor motor, it is important that it is tuned correctly for the specific compressor motor in question.
We have already tuned SpeedControl 1164 for a range of known compressor models, each with its own motor profile. The profile can be selected either via the ModBus interface or by using a small add-on board that converts ModBus to a 0-10V signal. When using the add-on board, the motor selection can easily be configured using dip-switches.

If we have not already tuned SpeedControl 1164 for your chosen compressor, we will be happy to help tune SpeedControl 1145 so that it controls your compressor as effectively as possible.
As a general rule, new motor profiles are tuned in our workshop, but in some cases it is possible to carry out the tuning remote online.
SpeedControl 1164 has a small aluminium plate that must be mounted to a cooling surface capable of transferring heat away from the power components.
